ACSC is sponsiring this workshop to provide members with an introduction to the skills and approaches
associated with convening and moderating National Issues Forums Institute's deliberative public issue forums.
Jill Severn and Jan Levinson will lead the workshop. Severn and Levinson have extensive experience and
training in convening and moderating deliberative forums, and together lead the Russell Forum for Civic Life
in Georgia, a civic engagement program of the Russell Library established in 2008.
